Jamie Shopland

Jamie Shopland is a Democratic candidate for Frederick County Council in District 2. With over 15 years of experience in product management and lean-agile coaching, she brings a focus on efficient and people-centered leadership. Shopland earned a B.A. in Law & Society from Hood College and a Paralegal Certification from Indiana University. A passionate advocate for accessibility and inclusion, she serves as the Chair of the Frederick County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee. Her platform prioritizes creating accessible communities, expanding housing options, and improving infrastructure while protecting the county's natural and agricultural lands.
