Jan Marshall Alexander

Jan Marshall Alexander is a judicial candidate running to retain his position as a Judge of the Circuit Court for Maryland's 3rd Judicial Circuit in Baltimore County. A native of Baltimore, he earned a B.A. in political science from Morgan State University in 1982 and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1985. His extensive legal career includes serving as an Assistant State's Attorney for Baltimore City from 1988 to 2002. He first joined the bench as an Associate Judge for the Maryland District Court in 2002 before being appointed to the Third Circuit Court in 2010. He is running in a nonpartisan judicial election.
