Jane E. Lichter is a non-partisan candidate and the Chair of the Baltimore County Board of Education, representing District 2. A lifelong resident of Baltimore County living in Pikesville, she is a retired educator with a 37-year career in the local public school system. Lichter began as a special education teacher, later serving as a curriculum coordinator and the principal of Lansdowne Elementary School. Prior to retiring in 2021, she spent eight years supervising principals as an executive director. She holds a bachelor's from the University of Maryland and a master's degree from Loyola University.
