Jane Kim is an attorney and politician who served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 2011 to 2019, where she authored California's first $15 minimum wage. Prior to that, she was president of the San Francisco Board of Education. She recently served as the State Director of the California Working Families Party and as California political director for Bernie Sanders' 2020 presidential campaign. Kim earned a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a J.D. from UC Berkeley.
