Janet Landesberg

Janet Landesberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Government from the University of Virginia in 1974 and a law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1977. Her legal career began as the first female Judge Advocate General (JAG) at the 25th Infantry Division. She later worked as an Assistant General Counsel for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and concluded her career as an Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration, retiring in 2014. She has served on the Clark County Redistricting Committee and the Vancouver City Charter Review committee. She is also a Democratic Precinct Committee Officer.
