Janet W. Tucci is a Republican politician and a lifelong resident of West Long Branch, New Jersey. She was first elected to the Borough Council in 1984 and has served as Mayor since 2005, having been inducted into the New Jersey Officials Hall of Fame. As Mayor, she has chaired the Recreation and Environmental Committee, championing open space and park development, including Franklin Lake redevelopment. Beyond her mayoral duties, she works as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant in the Long Branch School District. Her current mayoral term is set to conclude at the end of 2026. She resides in West Long Branch with her husband Lex and has three sons and four grandchildren.
