Januari McKay is a Democratic candidate for Register of Wills in Prince George's County, Maryland. She has spent over 15 years serving vulnerable populations in health, education, and child welfare. McKay previously worked as a case manager for the county's Department of Social Services, assisting foster youth transitioning to adulthood. She has also served as a Chief of Staff in the Maryland General Assembly and was an At-Large Delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Raised in Prince George's County, she attended North Carolina Central University and ran for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 23 in 2022.
