Where does Jared Huffman stand on the issues?

Jared Huffman's campaign lists two priority issues. Civoren has not yet recorded a stance on any of them.

  • Cost of Living & Affordability

“Affordability - we have an affordability crisis in America, and Trump's tariffs, trade wars, actual wars, and massive tax giveaways to billionaires have caused everyday costs to skyrocket. We must put working families first and make lowering costs -- for groceries, energy and utility bills, healthcare, housing and more -- the top priority.”

  • Government Transparency & Accountability

“Accountability - the lawlessness and corruption we are seeing from the Trump administration and their billionaire cronies is unlike anything our country has ever seen. Congress's job, under the Constitution, is to prevent this, yet this congress has shamefully looked away - and in too many cases, been part of the problem. I will fight to hold Trump and others in the administration accountable by restoring serious oversight and investigations in a Democratic majority next Congress. I will also demand a total ban on stock trading (including prediction markets) by members of Congress along with the President and other executive branch officials. I will also fight for robust, enforceable ethics standards for the Supreme Court.”
