Jared Huffman is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for California's 2nd congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Huffman previously represented the 6th district in the California State Assembly from 2006 to 2012. Prior to his legislative service, he was a Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council and served 12 years as a Director of the Marin Municipal Water District. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School.
