Jason Banks is the owner of the Banks Real Estate Group, LLC, where he also works as a broker. He previously served for 30 years in the Currituck County Sheriff's Office as a lieutenant. His prior experience also includes being a detective sergeant for the Elizabeth City Police Department. He was appointed to the Currituck County Board of Education in 2022 and is the current Vice-Chair. He is married with two children and is the chairman of deacons at Fellowship Baptist Church in Moyock.
