Jason C. Gallion

Jason C. Gallion is a Republican State Senator for Maryland's Legislative District 35, which encompasses parts of Cecil and Harford Counties. He was first elected to the Maryland Senate in 2018 and assumed office on January 9, 2019. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, on February 10, 1977, Gallion is a lifelong resident of the area. He earned an Associate of Arts degree in political science from Harford Community College. By profession, he owns and operates Hopewell Farm, a beef cattle and hay business he started in 1999. Since 2016, he has also worked as an Agricultural Specialist for Harford County. Gallion has a notable history of community service with the Level Volunteer Fire Company, where he has held the leadership positions of chief and president.
