Jason Gearhart

Jason Gearhart is the incumbent State Representative for Iowa House District 64, having been elected in 2024 and assuming office in January 2025. A resident of Strawberry Point, he is seeking re-election in the Republican primary on June 2, 2026. Gearhart serves on several legislative committees, including Veterans Affairs (Vice Chair), Agriculture, Natural Resources, Public Safety, and the Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee. His policy priorities include improving mental health access across Iowa and advocating for increased pediatric cancer research funding, for which he introduced a bill.
