Jason McShane was appointed to an at-large Kennewick City Council seat in December 2023. He is the assistant district manager for the Kennewick Irrigation District (KID), where he previously served as the engineering and operations manager, having been with KID since 2005. McShane graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in civil and environmental engineering. He grew up in the Tri-Cities area, living in Richland and Pasco before settling in Kennewick. He is married with five children.
