Jason Sherer

Jason Sherer is seeking the Republican nomination for Iowa House District 15 in the 2026 Primary Election. A full-time farmer from Pisgah, he previously worked as a nursing home administrator for approximately 25 years. He and his family operate Cobb Hollow Farm, a poultry operation, and were recipients of the Wergin Good Farm Neighbor Award. Sherer is actively involved in his community, serving as Chair of the Harrison County Economic Development Corporation, Secretary of the CHI Community Hospital Foundation, and a board member of the Harrison County Farm Bureau. He previously served on the West Harrison School Board, including a term as President, and has been an EMT and volunteer firefighter. His platform emphasizes conservative values, including the belief that every life is sacred, parental decision-making in education, support for agriculture, lowering property taxes, and government accountability.
