He has a background as a software developer and technology consultant, previously working as a manager at Microsoft. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Arnold has a long history of community involvement, including serving on the Kirkland Planning Commission and co-chairing the successful 'YES! For Great Kirkland Parks' campaign.
