Jay Arnold is in his third term on the Kirkland City Council and currently serves as the Deputy Mayor. He first moved to Kirkland 35 years ago and lives in the Norkirk neighborhood with his wife. Professionally, he works as a freelance web developer and technology consultant for non-profits, and was previously a Test Manager at Microsoft. He has served on numerous regional committees, including the Eastside Transportation Partnership and the State Building Code Council. Prior to his election, he served on the Kirkland Planning Commission and co-chaired the successful 2012 campaign for Kirkland Parks.
