Jayme Davis

Jayme M. Davis is an incumbent Democratic-NPL Member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, serving since 2022 and representing the 9th district. She is the House Minority Caucus Leader and Co-Chair of the North Dakota Future Caucus. Holding a BBA and an MPA, Davis has focused on criminal justice reform and notably championed the codification of the Indian Child Welfare Act into North Dakota law, a key issue for her as an Indigenous person. She is running for the 2026 North Dakota Senate election in the 9th legislative district, challenging incumbent Richard Marcellais. Davis also joined other state legislators in calling for President Trump's removal via the 25th Amendment, a decision she described as a moral imperative given her background.
