Jayson L. Spiegel is running for the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee, representing Legislative District 17 in Maryland. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2009 after 28 years of commissioned service in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. During the Clinton Administration, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army. An experienced attorney and current program manager at Optivor Technologies, Spiegel strongly advocates for veterans. He serves as President of the Maryland Military Coalition and as an advisor for the Maryland Democratic Party Veterans Council. He resides in Gaithersburg.
