Jeffery Fields is a graduate of Farmville Central High School (Class of 1977) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Social Work at East Carolina University in 1985. He also studied at the Free Will Baptist School of Theology. Fields is the founder of Lamb of God Ministries, an organization focused on outreach to prison inmates, guards, and correctional officers. He has hosted a Christian radio show on WELS and for the past four years has organized the Day of Prayer for the Town of Farmville. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Additionally, he serves on the North Carolina Senior Games Rules Committee and represents Pitt County on the statewide NC Vision Zero Commission.
