Jeffrie E. Long, Jr. is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 27B, which covers parts of Calvert and Prince George's counties. He assumed office on January 11, 2023. Prior to his election to the House, Long gained legislative experience serving as a legislative aide and director for state senators including Thomas V. Miller Jr., Joanne C. Benson, and Michael A. Jackson. In the House of Delegates, he serves on the Environment and Transportation Committee. Long earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in clinical psychology from Liberty University. He is also the senior pastor at Communion Church, located in Huntingtown, Maryland.
