Jenifer Marie Jones is an incumbent State Representative for New Mexico's 32nd District, serving since 2023. A Registered Nurse, she represents Doña Ana, Hidalgo, and Luna counties. A native of Deming, New Mexico, she earned her nursing degree from New Mexico Junior College. In the legislature, she is Ranking Member of the House Health & Human Services Committee and a Member of the House Transportation Committee. Her policy stances include parental notification for minor abortions, care for abortion survivors, mandatory personal finance education in high school, and protecting Second Amendment rights. She also advocates for expanding rural health tax credits and establishing tax credits for rural infrastructure projects to benefit the borderland economy. She is running for re-election in 2026.
