Jennifer Jensen is a retired Lt. Colonel from the US Air Force Reserves, where she served as an Intelligence Officer from 1992 to 2001. She later worked as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at the University of Washington. From 2008 to 2017, she was the Owner and Director of the Kumon Math and Reading Center of North Tacoma. She holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science from the US Air Force Academy. Her community involvement includes serving on the Ruston Planning Commission from 2018 to 2021 and being an active member of Rotary 8 and the First Presbyterian Church Tacoma. She has served on the City Council since January 2022.
