Jennifer Lynch

Jennifer Lynch is an incumbent Democratic State Representative for Montana's 73rd district, having assumed office in January 2023 after being elected in November 2022. A school teacher born in Butte, Montana, she is the daughter of former legislator J.D. Lynch. Representative Lynch serves as the Democratic Caucus Chair (2025-) and is a member of the House Agriculture, Business and Labor, and Transportation committees. During the 2023 legislative session, she sponsored legislation related to warehouse worker protection and unemployment insurance, and requested drafts concerning education laws, universal public preschool, and mental health services in schools. She was tapped by local Democrats as a candidate for the House seat.
