Jennifer "Gay" Valimont is a gun violence prevention activist and the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 1st Congressional District. She previously ran for the seat in the 2024 general election against Matt Gaetz and the 2025 special election against Jimmy Patronis. Valimont holds a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science from Georgia Southern University and a master's degree in education from Troy State University.
