Jeremy Askew Gray is a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, serving the 83rd district since November 2018. A former professional football player and fitness instructor, Gray also works as a personal trainer and yoga instructor. He co-chairs the Alabama chapter of Future Caucus and received the 2022 Rising Star Award for his commitment to cross-partisan policymaking. Gray has notably advocated for lifting the ban on yoga in Alabama schools and was selected for the 2025-2026 Civic Innovation cohort. He previously sought a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2024.
