Jesús Pérez-Linares

Dr. Jesús Pérez-Linares is a marine biologist with a PhD in management and conservation of natural resources. He has over 18 years of experience in Research and Development, collaborating in countries such as Mexico, Spain, New Zealand, Ireland, and Portugal. He obtained a teaching certification from Western Washington University in 2015 and currently works as a 5th-grade teacher at West View Elementary. This is his first term as Councilmember for Ward 6. He serves on the Public Works Committee, Public Safety Committee, Parks & Recreation Board, and the Audit & Finance Committee, and is an alternate member on the Arts Commission.
