Jesse Young was raised in Tacoma and graduated as valedictorian from Woodrow Wilson High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame. He worked as an IT consultant before being appointed to the Washington House of Representatives for the 26th district, where he served from 2014 to 2023. He now runs his own consulting firm in Gig Harbor.
