Jesse Salomon is an incumbent State Senator for Washington's 32nd District, who has served since 2018. Before his time in the Senate, he gained experience as a Shoreline City Councilmember and Deputy Mayor, a public defender, and a prosecutor protecting abused children. In the Senate, he chairs the Local Government Committee and is a member of the Housing, Law and Justice, and Rules Committees. His priorities include expanding affordable housing, strengthening gun safety, protecting survivors of domestic violence, and restoring the natural environment. He supported a $16 billion green transportation package and the Millionaires Tax. Salomon also focuses on protecting Washingtonians from federal overreach, preserving access to healthcare and reproductive care, and addressing youth mental health by proposing age restrictions for social media accounts. He is running for re-election to continue delivering practical solutions and making Washington safer, healthier, and more affordable.
