    Supports

Campaigns on affordability and lowering the cost of living, pledging to fight to lower costs for working families and cut wasteful spending.

  • Energy

    Opposes

St. Gelais opposes offshore wind projects and what he calls radical green energy mandates, calling for a halt to the offshore wind projects and repeal of the state's net-zero-by-2050 mandate in favor of reliable, affordable energy and lower utility bills.

Jesse will stand up to the extreme green agenda and demand an immediate halt to the offshore wind boondoggle. Jesse knows we need reliable, affordable energy, not billion-dollar bailouts for offshore wind executives paid for by hidden taxes on your monthly electric bill.

  • Government Transparency & Accountability

    Supports

St. Gelais calls for a top-to-bottom audit of state agencies and the Legislature, arguing every agency must be held strictly accountable for how it spends taxpayer money, with greater transparency in state spending, stronger oversight, and accountability when agencies fall short.

Jesse believes that every state agency must be held strictly accountable for how it spends your money. State government has operated in the dark for too long, avoiding tough questions and hiding behind bureaucratic red tape. … He is calling for a top-to-bottom audit to enforce efficiency, cut the fat, and give the power back to the people.

St. Gelais wants to end unfunded state mandates and return the district's tax dollars to its towns to fund police, fire departments, schools, and roads, rather than letting Beacon Hill pass costs onto local property taxpayers.

Jesse will fight to ensure the 8th Bristol District gets our hard-earned tax dollars back to fund what actually matters: our police, fire departments, schools, and roads. It's time to stop Boston from passing the buck to our communities and driving up your local taxes.
