Jessica A. Uzcategui

Jessica A. Uzcategui was appointed as a Judge to the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in 2018. Prior to her appointment, her legal practice was focused on litigation concerning high-net-worth estates. She was a partner at Sacks, Glazier, Franklin and Lodise LLP from 2012 to 2018, and an associate with the firm from 2004 to 2011. She began her career as an associate at Quinn, Emanuel, Urquhart, Oliver and Hedges LLP, where she worked from 2002 to 2004. Uzcategui is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University.
