She is a self-taught artist specializing in oil and acrylic paints and is an active member of the Lopez Artist Guild. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she teaches yoga at Grace Church. Her professional background includes experience as a restaurant and event manager, which provided her with skills in business, conflict resolution, and planning. She was nominated to fill a vacancy for Commissioner Position #1 in October 2024.
