Jim Bennett

Jim Bennett is the incumbent commissioner for Spokane County Fire District 9, Position 3, having served since 2013. He has been a paramedic with American Medical Response in Spokane for over 33 years and previously worked as a paramedic in Florida. His experience includes serving as a volunteer firefighter and chief medical officer in Stevens County, where he was also elected to the board of commissioners in 1999. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science in Organization Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business and Management from Whitworth University. He has held leadership roles such as President of the Spokane County Fire Commissioners Association and Chairman of the NE Washington Emergency Communications Board.
