Jim Dalke is a professional radio and television broadcast engineer and operates Dalke Broadcast Services. He has been recognized for his work, receiving the Robert W. Flanders SBE Engineer of the Year award twice. He serves as the Chair for the Bates Technical College Broadcasting and Video Production and Digital Media Advisory Board and has been an adjunct instructor there. Dalke is a resident of Federal Way, where he and his wife have lived for over 30 years, and is the patriarch of a family that includes graduates and teachers from the Federal Way school system. He also serves as a Precinct Committee Officer.
