Jim Huffman is a candidate for Douglas County Port District Commissioner District No. 1 in Douglas County, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Jim Huffman has represented District 1 on the Douglas County Port Commission since 1994 and currently serves as the President of the Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority Board of Directors. He is a resident of East Wenatchee and an alumnus of Wenatchee High School, Wenatchee Valley College, and Central Washington University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science. Huffman served in the U.S. Navy for two tours during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Chelan County PUD after a 30-year career in environmental and regulatory compliance and power contract management. He is also involved in non-profit organizations, sitting on the Board of Directors for the Good Grief Center in Wenatchee and the Families and Friends of Violent Crime Victims in Everett.
