He currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for Gulf County, Florida. A native of Port St. Joe, Norton is running for the open seat previously held by retiring Representative Neal Dunn. Prior to entering the congressional race, he has spent his career in local educational leadership and community service in the Florida Panhandle.
