Joan Connell

Joan Connell is a journalist and author with a special interest in religion, ethics, and moral issues. She is a senior lecturer emerita in Western Washington University's Journalism Department. As a national correspondent for Newhouse News Service, she was a Pulitzer Prize finalist for her coverage of religion, ethics, and moral issues. She has served as a commissioner on the Birch Bay Water and Sewer District board.
