Joanna E. McClinton is the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving the 191st District since 2015. A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, she earned her bachelor's degree from La Salle University and her J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. Prior to her historic election as the first female Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, she worked as a public defender and served as chief counsel to State Senator Anthony H. Williams.
