Joe Ferdinando is a nonpartisan member of the Cecil County Board of Education in Maryland, representing District 3. He assumed office in December 2022 after defeating Justin Vest in the general election and is currently running for re-election in 2026. A resident of Cecil County for over 30 years, he is a graduate of Rising Sun High School. He is a strong advocate for student athletics, bringing over a decade of experience as a youth sports coach, including work with the JV Softball Lady Tigers. Deeply involved locally, he served on the Launch Team for Freedom Church in Rising Sun. He and his wife, Melissa, have two daughters.
