Joe Gruters is a Florida State Senator representing District 22, first elected to the Senate in 2018. A Certified Public Accountant, Gruters previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2018 and as Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida from 2019 to 2023. In August 2025, he was elected Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Gruters earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of South Florida.
