Joe Lovvorn

Joe Lovvorn is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Alabama's District 79. He chairs both the House Committee on Rules and the House Committee on Lee County Legislation, and holds membership in several other committees, including State Parks Legislative, Community Service Grants Legislative Advisory, Finances and Budget Permanent Legislative, Reapportionment Permanent Legislative, and Ways and Means Education. His legislative record includes sponsoring bills enacted into law in 2025 and 2026, concerning sales tax exemptions, use of off-road vehicles as emergency vehicles, and commemorating the Alpha-Delta Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity. He maintains offices in Montgomery and Auburn.
