Joe Palombi is a candidate for Fire Commissioner in Orting, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Joe Palombi is a firefighter with the Seattle Fire Department and has over 17 years of service in the fire industry. He began his career as a volunteer in Wrightstown and Jacobstown, New Jersey, and was later hired as a paid firefighter at Hamilton Crosswicks and then Bordentown Township District 2. He also has experience as an EMS. After moving to South Carolina, he was a member of the Georgetown County Technical Rescue Team, a Water Rescue Operator, and a Rescue Swimmer, earning the South Carolina Medal of Valor. Prior to joining the Seattle Fire Department, he was a Seattle Police Officer. In the Seattle Fire Department, he is the Tillerman on Ladder Co. 12 and is involved in the Recruit and Operations Training Divisions, helping to develop the department's Fire Prep program. He is also a member of the SFD Peer Support Team and is starting a nonprofit with his wife to provide peer assistance to first responders.
