Johanna López is a Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 43 since 2022 [1.1]. Before her election to the state legislature, she served on the Orange County School Board from 2018 to 2022, becoming the first Puerto Rican elected to the board. Born in Puerto Rico, López holds a B.A. in Hispanic Studies from the Universidad de Puerto Rico and an M.A. in Higher Education. In 2026, she announced plans to run for the Orange County Commission.
