Senator Albers chairs the Public Safety Committee and serves as Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee, in addition to being a member of Appropriations, Government Oversight, Regulated Industries and Utilities, Rules, and Urban Affairs. He is married to Kari, born August 18, and is a Christian-Methodist with an education from the University of Louisville.
