John Beccia is a North Shore dad and business leader running for Congress, rooted in working-class values and a commitment to make government work for people again. A Lynnfield resident, he earned a B.A. in political science from Providence College, an LL.M. in banking and financial law from Boston University, and a J.D. from Roger Williams University. He built a career at the intersection of finance and government, working with federal regulators to combat terrorist financing and consumer fraud and helping implement post-financial-crisis reforms; he co-founded and chairs FS Vector, a financial services strategic consulting firm, and is a Boston University adjunct law professor. He lives with his wife Renée and two children, who attend local public schools.
