John Bower is a lifelong Clark County resident. He has a Master of Arts in teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in history, both from Washington State University of Vancouver. He has worked as a substitute teacher at Evergreen Public Schools and was elected to the Evergreen Education Association Representative Council. He has also volunteered with the Vancouver Free Fridge Project, Stone Soup, and the Clark County Food Bank.
