John E Andrews

John Andrews is a dedicated public servant and former six-year state representative from Maine. He previously served two terms in House District 73 and a term in District 79, resigning in June 2024. Prior to his legislative service, he was the Political Editor for The Maine Wire. Andrews has a long history of community involvement, including service on the Paris Board of Selectmen, the Paris Economic Development Committee, and the Paris Elementary School PTO. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2001. Andrews is currently running as a Republican for State Senate District 18, expressing a desire to prevent legislative gridlock and ensure effective representation. He resides in Paris, Maine.
