John Moran is a Democratic politician who has served as the Massachusetts state representative for the 9th Suffolk district (South End and parts of Back Bay, Roxbury, and Dorchester in Boston) since June 2023. A longtime South End resident and affordable-housing advocate, he previously held executive roles at Boston-area companies including Liberty Mutual, Bose, and Biogen, after earning a BA from Earlham College and a MALD from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
