John H. Rogers is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 12th Norfolk District (all of Norwood and parts of Walpole) since 1993. He is an attorney who graduated cum laude from Brandeis University (B.A., 1987) and earned a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School (1992), also studying at the University of Galway Law School in Ireland. He served as a Norwood Town Meeting member (1988–1992), as House Majority Leader (2005–2009), and as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee (2001–2005); he is Ranking Member of the Joint Committees on Education, Children & Families, and Labor and Workforce Development.
