John Higgins

John Higgins is a lifelong resident of Medical Lake and a graduate of Medical Lake High School. He is a U.S. Army veteran with two tours in Vietnam. For 25 years, he worked as a forensic therapist at Eastern State Hospital. He has also served as a paraeducator and a hall-of-fame softball coach at his alma mater. Higgins previously served three terms as the Mayor of Medical Lake, elected in 2005, 2009, and 2013. He was also appointed to the Medical Lake School Board but did not seek re-election when his term ended in 2023.
