John J Looney Sr

John J. Looney Sr. is a Helena-based entrepreneur, community leader, and public servant running for the Montana House of Representatives District 81. A veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in the 3rd Ranger Battalion, Looney also dedicated seven years to the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's Office and worked as a justice court clerk. As a business owner, he serves on the Lewis and Clark County Citizens Advisory Council. A homeschooling father of six, he advocates for parental rights in education, school choice, and curriculum transparency. He believes in the sanctity of life, fair and accountable criminal justice, and minimal taxes, advocating for property tax reform and returning surpluses to taxpayers. He aims to bring his experience addressing Helena's challenges to the legislature.
