John Mannion is the U.S. Representative for New York's 22nd Congressional District, having assumed office in 2025. Before his election to Congress, he served in the New York State Senate, where he chaired the Committee on Disabilities and championed Green Chips legislation to bring manufacturing jobs to Central New York. A lifelong resident of the region, Mannion spent nearly three decades as a high school science teacher and served as president of the West Genesee Teachers' Association.
